Mill Reef Capital is an experienced, highly specialised private equity investor. The firm offers bespoke investment solutions allowing clients to access high quality European private equity managers through primary and secondary investments.

We have closed bespoke liquidity solutions worth more than EUR 1bn and advised clients on primary fund commitments for more than a decade

We lead and structure mutually beneficial transactions and consider ourselves long-term partners of the fund managers we work with

We ensure that transactions are supported by all existing stakeholders of a fund manager and enhance portfolio value through flexible and patient capital

Hold on to winners in  portfolio

Some great portfolio companies have a long way to go but are limited in their growth by capital constrained funds at the end of their term.

We work with fund managers to transfer one or several portfolio companies to a new fund vehicle. We ensure proper governance and management of any potential conflicts while management of the portfolio remains with the incumbent fund manager. Existing investors are presented a liquidity option while the fund manager continues to manage the portfolio to maximize value.

While most investors can access funds managed by larger private capital managers, Mill Reef Capital focuses on the smaller end of the market across Europe and identifies fund managers with differentiated strategies and the potential to significantly outperform the relevant market segment. We believe in-depth market knowledge and analytical rigor to be paramount to successfully invest in this market segment.
