Mill Reef Capital further expands team with five new hires

Zurich, Switzerland, February 7, 2022



Mill Reef Capital, the Swiss-based private equity secondaries investor, is pleased to announce the further expansion of its investment and operations teams with five new hires


Sven Asmussen is joining Mill Reef Capital’s investment team as Principal. Sven joins from Clearsight Investments, a private equity fund-of-funds-manager focused on European small cap managers, where he most recently was a Managing Partner and Investment Committee member.


Sophie Dürst is joining Mill Reef Capital’s fund operations and controlling team as Vice President. Sophie joins from Schroders Capital where she served as Senior Fund Controller in the European fund management team.


Lars Helfenstein is joining Mill Reef Capital’s investment team as Associate. Lars joins from a large Swiss family office where he served as Investment Analyst. Prior to that he held the role of Investment Analyst in sustainability investing at RobecoSAM.


Edoardo Pediconi is joining Mill Reef Capital’s investment team as Associate. Edoardo joins from Lazard where he was an Investment Banking Analyst based in Milan.


Patrick Bekic is joining Mill Reef Capital’s investment team as Analyst. Patrick joins from CVI, a leading private debt investor in the CEE region, where he served as Investment Analyst based in Warsaw.


The further strengthening of its investment and operations teams through these five appointments follows the successful closing of the firm’s maiden fund at the Hard Cap of EUR 180 million in August 2021.
